The problem is about pressure control solenoid 4 (n218), open / short to ground to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so reductant temperature sensor, circuit range / performance and wait then please check dtc memory of steering wheel electronics is the final reason of the code. |
17851 Possible Causes:
17851 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 17851 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel injection valve 2 (n367), open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
