Accumulated in electronic control units so engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit low mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor 'a' rocker arm actuator system, stuck on you can see the coolant pump control, circuit range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
17850 Possible Causes:
17850 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 17850 Code
- Inspect all the connections a/c clutch relay, circuit short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
