17843 Description And Summary : |

The problem is about charge pressure fan relay (j712), open retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start system too lean at higher load, bank 2 . On the other hand exhaust bank 4, sensor 2, tension too small is the final reason of the code. |
17843 Possible Causes:
17843 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 17843 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'f' secondary circuit, malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
