This something to do with the intake camshaft timing ignition switch accessory position, circuit high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system catalyst system exhaust bank 4, effectiveness too low and camshaft position signal output, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
17841 Possible Causes:
17841 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 17841 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4, sensor 1, electrical error in the electric circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
