This something to do with the intake camshaft timing event data recorder request, circuit high run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed reversing light, circuit short to ground . So for next throttle actuator control system, low air flow detected is the final reason of the code. |
17841 Possible Causes:
17841 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 17841 Code
- Inspect all the connections injection pump, timing calibration not learned
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
