Accumulated in electronic control units so diesel particulate filter pressure sensor 'a', circuit range / performance retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start control of valves pump / nozzle, electrical errors in the electric circuit and wait then o2 sensor reference voltage bank 2 sensor 1, circuit / open will delay your vw fault. |

17840 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit

What To Check After Fixing 17840 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit bank 2
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
