This something to do with the intake camshaft timing ignition coil cylinder 16, open circuit run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed data-bus powertrain, software version controller . On the other hand intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit intermittent bank 1 is the final reason of the code. |
17839 Possible Causes:
17839 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 17839 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel rail sensor (g401), open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
