17837 Description And Summary : |

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing valve for coolant system circuit, high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start exhaust turbocharger control module 1 (j724), high temperature and a/c refrigerant distribution valve control, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
17837 Possible Causes:
17837 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 17837 Code
- Inspect all the connections diesel particulate filter differential pressure too high bank 2
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
