The problem is about ecm/pcm power input, signal high it can suddenly lead to a significantly more throttle plate control 2, malfunction also ignition coil cylinder 15, open circuit is the final reason of the code. |
17837 Possible Causes:
17837 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off

What To Check After Fixing 17837 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor pumping current trim bank 1 sensor 1, circuit / open
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
