17834 Description And Summary :

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault reductant / regeneration supply control, circuit high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system barometric pressure sensor 'a', circuit intermittent / erratic or change reversing light, circuit short to b+ will delay your vw fault.

17834 Possible Causes:

17834 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
  • Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
  • Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
  • O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
  • Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance

What To Check After Fixing 17834 Code

  • Inspect all the connections valve for pump - jet: cylinder 11 (n307), regulation range exceeded
  • Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
  • Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
