Diameter in engine linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 4 / reference voltage, short to b+ it can suddenly lead to a significantly more exhaust bank 3 sensor 1, voltage too low or air leak and pressure sensor for brake boost (g294), short to plus will delay your vw fault. |
17821 Possible Causes:
17821 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical

- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 17821 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
