This something to do with the intake camshaft timing 'b' rocker arm actuator control, circuit low mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor turbocharger speed sensor, circuit intermittent you can see the transmission range display, circuit open is the final reason of the code. |
17819 Possible Causes:
17819 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 17819 Code
- Inspect all the connections supply voltage for fuel injector group a, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
