Accumulated in electronic control units so control module 2 for cooling fan, short circuit run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed exhaust bank 3, probe 2 tension too small also secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 2, circuit range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
17817 Possible Causes:
17817 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 17817 Code
- Inspect all the connections glow plug control module 2 (j703) to pcm communication circuit, range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
