Accumulated in electronic control units so please check dtc memory of instrument cluster It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake fuel injection valve 4 (n369), short to ground. So for next data-bus powertrain, missing message from fuel injection pump is the final reason of the code. |
17816 Possible Causes:
17816 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
What To Check After Fixing 17816 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection valve 3 (n384), circuit open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
