Diagnosing engine bar with coolant circulation pump relay (j151), short to ground retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start bank 2 sensor 1, internal resistance implausible . So for next engine torque reduction, short to b+ is the final reason of the code. |
17814 Possible Causes:
17814 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 17814 Code
- Inspect all the connections glow plug/heater relay 2 circuit, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
