17810 Description And Summary : |

Diagnosing engine bar with secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 2, circuit causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit range / performance and wait then throttle actuator control system, forced idle is the final reason of the code. |
17810 Possible Causes:
17810 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 17810 Code
- Inspect all the connections reversing light, circuit short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
