17802 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault charge pressure fan relay (j712), short to b+ to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so reversing light, circuit short to ground and secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 2, circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
17802 Possible Causes:
17802 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
What To Check After Fixing 17802 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel rail sensor (g401), open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
