This something to do with the intake camshaft timing throttle actuator control system, forced idle It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake vehicle speed sensor 'b', intermittent / erratic / high you can see the secondary air injection pump-c-relay (j704), circuit short to b+ will delay your vw fault. |
17802 Possible Causes:
17802 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
What To Check After Fixing 17802 Code
- Inspect all the connections power supply, voltage low voltage
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
