The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 1, circuit low the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles intake manifold runner bank 2, high temperature and wait then throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e', circuit intermittent is the final reason of the code. |
17801 Possible Causes:
17801 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 17801 Code
- Inspect all the connections valve for intake manifold flap (n239), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
