This something to do with the intake camshaft timing throttle angle signal stuck on It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake secondary air injection valve 3 (n384), circuit electrical malfunction also starter activation, return message terminal 50, short to ground/open circuit will delay your vw fault. |
17799 Possible Causes:
17799 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 17799 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control solenoid 3 (n217), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
