Staring in engine data bus powertrain, missing message from a/c controller retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start data bus engine/engine, missing message from ecu 1 or change exhaust gas temperature sensor 2 bank 2 (g449), electrical malfunction is the final reason of the code. |
17798 Possible Causes:
17798 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 17798 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4, sensor 2 heater circuit, electrical error
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
