This something to do with the intake camshaft timing mil call-up circuit / transmission control module, short to ground mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor low pressure fuel sensor sensor (g410), implausible signal . So for next tiptronic switch down (f189), open circuit / signal to b+ will delay your vw fault. |

17796 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 17796 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbocharger 2 control module (j725), high temperature
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
