The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit low bank 1 causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system nox sensor bank 1, circuit low and wait then givers 2 for intake air temperature (g299), signal too small will delay your vw fault. |
17781 Possible Causes:
17781 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input

What To Check After Fixing 17781 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 2, circuit intermittent / erratic
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
