17780 Possible Causes:
17780 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 17780 Code
- Inspect all the connections bank 1 sensor 1, internal resistance too high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
