Accumulated in electronic control units so control module defective to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so data-bus powertrain, missing message from engine controller (ecu) or change intake air heater "a", circuit open is the final reason of the code. |
17749 Possible Causes:
17749 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input

What To Check After Fixing 17749 Code
- Inspect all the connections turbo/super charger wastegate solenoid d (n389), signal high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
