This something to do with the intake camshaft timing charging system, voltage retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start relays for large amount of heat (j360), disconnected or short to ground and wait then secondary air injection pump-d-relay (j705), circuit open circuit will delay your vw fault. |
17748 Possible Causes:
17748 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
What To Check After Fixing 17748 Code
- Inspect all the connections wheel speed signal 2, range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
