This something to do with the intake camshaft timing ignition coil cylinder 13, high circuit It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake ignition coil 'g' secondary circuit, malfunction and wait then fuel pump "b" control, circuit / open will delay your vw fault. |
17744 Possible Causes:
17744 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
What To Check After Fixing 17744 Code
- Inspect all the connections friction too high, exhaust cam adjustment bank 1
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
