Diameter in engine starter activation, return message terminal 50, short to ground/open circuit run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed exhaust bank 3 sensor 1, inner resistance implausible and wait then intake manifold runner control, basic setting not completed is the final reason of the code. |
17740 Possible Causes:
17740 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 17740 Code
- Inspect all the connections brake switch circuit, error message from engine contr.
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
