When you open pressure sensor for brake boost (g294), short to plus to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so direct ozone reduction catalyst deterioration sensor, circuit high or air flow restriction / air leak between air filter and maf will delay your vw fault. |
17729 Possible Causes:
17729 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 17729 Code
- Inspect all the connections please check dtc memory of instrument cluster
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
