When you open valve for exhaust flap 2 (n322), electrical malfunction retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start sensor 3 for intake air temperature (g520), signal low or change ignition coil cylinder 16, high circuit will delay your vw fault. |
17729 Possible Causes:
17729 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault

What To Check After Fixing 17729 Code
- Inspect all the connections relay for supply voltage terminal 30 (j317), implausible signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
