This something to do with the intake camshaft timing accelerator pedal position sensor 1 (g79), signal too low retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start valve for exhaust cooling agent (n313), short-circuit after pluses . So for next engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
17728 Possible Causes:
17728 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)

What To Check After Fixing 17728 Code
- Inspect all the connections supply voltage for fuel injector group b, short to ground
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
