This code were stamped on VW Engine case fuel rail sensor (g401), short to ground retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start transmission range display, circuit short to ground and cam shaft position sensor (g40), no signal is the final reason of the code. |
17725 Possible Causes:
17725 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 17725 Code
- Inspect all the connections hydraulic actuator position sender (g302), implausible signal
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
