The problem is about data bus powertrain, implausible message of the clutch electrics retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start data bus powertrain, implausible message from control module level control and data bus powertrain, missing message from clutch control is the final reason of the code. |
17724 Possible Causes:
17724 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 17724 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 1, circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
