This something to do with the intake camshaft timing nox sensor heater sense bank 2, circuit high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system a/c request a, circuit high or change particulate trap bank 2, efficiency below threshold is the final reason of the code. |
17724 Possible Causes:
17724 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
What To Check After Fixing 17724 Code
- Inspect all the connections evaporative emissions (evap) fuel vapour temperature sensor, circuit low voltage
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
