This something to do with the intake camshaft timing fuel injection valve 3 (n368), short to ground causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s1, signal shorted to heater circuit . So for next please check dtc memory of transmission ecu is the final reason of the code. |
17722 Possible Causes:
17722 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 17722 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 1 mixture adaptation range 3, lean limit not reached
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
