The problem is about fuel pump "a", low flow / performance mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor intake air heater "a", circuit and wait then bank 2, cam shaft position sensor, discharge opening (g301), short-circuit to mass is the final reason of the code. |
17720 Possible Causes:
17720 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 17720 Code
- Inspect all the connections throttle/pedal position sensor / switch 'e', circuit intermittent
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
