This something to do with the intake camshaft timing mass-airflow sensor 3 (g456), signal to low mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, voltage too low during deceleration you can see the vehicle speed sensor 'b', range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
17712 Possible Causes:
17712 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 17712 Code
- Inspect all the connections angle sensors 2 for butterfly valve drive 2 (g298), signal too largely
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
