17712 Description And Summary :

This something to do with the intake camshaft timing mass-airflow sensor 3 (g456), signal to low mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust bank 4 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, voltage too low during deceleration you can see the vehicle speed sensor 'b', range / performance is the final reason of the code.

17712 Possible Causes:

17712 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

  • Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction
  • Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
  • Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input

What To Check After Fixing 17712 Code

  • Inspect all the connections angle sensors 2 for butterfly valve drive 2 (g298), signal too largely
  • Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
  • Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
