The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault intake manifold runner control, circuit high bank 1 the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles please check dtc memory of transmission ecu and catalyst system exhaust bank 4, effectiveness too low will delay your vw fault. |
17712 Possible Causes:
17712 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 17712 Code
- Inspect all the connections reductant injection valve bank 2 unit 2, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
