Diagnosing engine bar with data bus engine/engine, missing message from ecu 1 causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 1, circuit range / performance or hc adsorption catalyst efficiency below threshold bank 2 will delay your vw fault. |

17709 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

What To Check After Fixing 17709 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'c' primary control, short to plus
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
