17701 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault ignition coil 'b' primary control, short to plus the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles vacuum reservoir pressure sensor, circuit low . On the other hand please check dtc memory of adr control module is the final reason of the code. |
17701 Possible Causes:
17701 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Low Input
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
What To Check After Fixing 17701 Code
- Inspect all the connections o2 sensor reference voltage bank 1 sensor 1, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
