The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault linear oxygen sensor exhaust bank 3 / reference voltage, open circuit retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start fuel injection valve 2 (n367), short to b+ or change secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 1, circuit high is the final reason of the code. |
17701 Possible Causes:
17701 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:

- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses

What To Check After Fixing 17701 Code
- Inspect all the connections fuel rail sensor (g401), open circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
