The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault control module throttle actuator position, performance retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start throttle actuator control module, performance and exhaust bank 2 sensor 1 oxygen sensor signal, implausibly rich is the final reason of the code. |
17696 Possible Causes:
17696 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
