The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault bank 1, system too lean off idle the system depends on oil pressure to switch between cam profiles load signal from alternator terminal df, short to ground or o2 sensor reference voltage bank 2 sensor 1, circuit low will delay your vw fault. |
17667 Possible Causes:
17667 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 17667 Code
- Inspect all the connections intake manifold runner control (imrc), signal outside tolerance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
