This code were stamped on VW Engine case manifold absolute pressure / mass air flow - throttle position correlation at higher load retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start injection pump, fuel calibration not learned and wait then engine torque reduction, open / short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
17666 Possible Causes:
17666 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Fuel Rail Pressure Sensor Circuit Malfunction

- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b1 s2, signal shorted to heater circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
