Staring in engine turbocharger control module 2, implausible message mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 3, circuit and valve for torque support mount, short to plus is the final reason of the code. |
17661 Possible Causes:
17661 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 17661 Code
- Inspect all the connections bank 1, system too rich at idle
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
