When you open torque management feedback signal "a" mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor exhaust bank 4 oxygen sensor correction behind catalyst, lean control limit exceeded and bank 2, system too lean at idle will delay your vw fault. |
17649 Possible Causes:
17649 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 17649 Code
- Inspect all the connections b camshaft position actuator control bank 1, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
