The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault rough road / acceleration sensor, electrical malfunction mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor vacuum reservoir pressure sensor, circuit range / performance or change o2 sensor signals swapped bank 1 sensor 2 / bank 1 sensor 3 is the final reason of the code. |
17647 Possible Causes:
17647 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Injection lump Fuel Metering Control 'B' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
What To Check After Fixing 17647 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor, bank 1 sensor 5, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
