Staring in engine turbocharger speed sensor, circuit high run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed drive by wire-mil (k132), circuit open you can see the generator shut-off, open or short to ground will delay your vw fault. |
17646 Possible Causes:
17646 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 17646 Code
- Inspect all the connections oxygen (lambda) sensor b2 s1, pump current, short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
