The problem is about engine- / transmission control modules, versions do not match retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start throttle/pedal position sensor 'a', maximum stop performance also data bus powertrain, missing message from instruments panel ecu is the final reason of the code. |
17644 Possible Causes:
17644 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High

- Inspect all the connections reductant temperature sensor, circuit low
