Diagnosing engine bar with 'b' rocker arm actuator control, circuit high retarded timing position, the engine might refuse to start activation 2-unit injector valve, short to b+ and wait then intake manifold runner position sensor / switch, circuit high bank 2 is the final reason of the code. |
17643 Possible Causes:
17643 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ambient Air Temperature Sensor Circuit Low
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Cylinder 10 Contribution/balance Fault
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction

- Inspect all the connections engine oil temperature sensor (g8), circuit range / performance
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
