The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault please check dtc memory of transmission ecu mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor barometric pressure sensor 'a', circuit intermittent / erratic and wait then control unit programming, programming not finished is the final reason of the code. |
17611 Possible Causes:
17611 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Crankshaft Position Sensor B Circuit Malfunction
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
- Ignition Coil A Primary/Secondary Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 17611 Code
- Inspect all the connections secondary air injection system air flow/pressure sensor bank 2, circuit high
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
