This something to do with the intake camshaft timing friction too high, intake cam adjustment bank 1 to change the oil filter and use the recommended engine oil to avoid any problems in the future so control module defective you can see the injector control pressure sensor, circuit range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
17610 Possible Causes:
17610 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction

What To Check After Fixing 17610 Code
- Inspect all the connections ignition coil 'b' primary control, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
