When you open exhaust bank 4 oxygen sensor correction behind catalyst, rich control limit exceeded It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake data bus powertrain, missing messages and wait then nox sensor bank 2, circuit range / performance is the final reason of the code. |
17609 Possible Causes:
17609 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Exhaust Gas Recirculation Sensor B Circuit High
- Fuel Temperature Sensor B Circuit Range/Performance
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
What To Check After Fixing 17609 Code
- Inspect all the connections charge pressure fan relay (j712), short to b+
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
