This something to do with the intake camshaft timing cooling bypass valve, exhaust gas recirculation flow, electrical It could be due to limited air getting through your air intake reductant injection valve bank 2 unit 1, circuit / open and bank 1, system too rich at idle is the final reason of the code. |
17603 Possible Causes:
17603 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Ignition/Distributor Engine Speed Input Circuit Malfunction
- Engine Shutoff Solenoid Malfunction
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 17603 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust bank 4, sensor 2 heater circuit, short-circuit after pluses
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
