This something to do with the intake camshaft timing engine coolant temperature sensor 2 (g83), circuit low run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed transmission solenoid power relay, short to ground . On the other hand camshaft adjustment oil temperature sensor (g277), implausible signal is the final reason of the code. |
17601 Possible Causes:
17601 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
- Throttle/Pedal Position Sensor/Switch A Circuit Intermittent
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Engine Oil Temperature Sensor Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 17601 Code
- Inspect all the connections pressure control solenoid 5 (n233), electrical malfunction
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
