This something to do with the intake camshaft timing ignition switch accessory position, circuit high causes include a bad boost pressure sensor or a vacuum leak in the system wheel speed signal 3, range / performance and reductant temperature sensor, circuit range / performance will delay your vw fault. |
17601 Possible Causes:
17601 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Clutch Position Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 17601 Code
- Inspect all the connections exhaust gas temperature sensor bank 2 sensor 3, circuit
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
