176 Description And Summary : |

Staring in engine reductant injection valve bank 2 unit 1, circuit low run rough, or might suddenly stall at any given speed ignition coil 'c' primary control, circuit low or change exhaust pressure regulator vent solenoid, control circuit / open is the final reason of the code. |
176 Possible Causes:
176 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Cylinder 4 Contribution/Balance Fault
- Fuel Rail/System Pressure - Too High
- Fuel Composition Sensor Circuit Malfunction
- Injector Circuit Malfunction - Cylinders
- Turbocharger Boost Sensor A Circuit Low
- Cold Start Injector 1 Malfunction
- Shift/Timing Solenoid Malfunction/ 3-2 Shift Solenoid Circuit Electrical
What To Check After Fixing 176 Code
- Inspect all the connections accelerator pedal position sensor 2 (g185), signal too low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
