17590 Description And Summary : |

The instrument cluster alerts the driver to the fault relays for coolant additive pump (j496), open circuit mechanic will need to check all electrical connections in the camshaft sensor mil control circuit, open / short to b+ and control module, coding fault is the final reason of the code. |
17590 Possible Causes:
17590 vw fault code may be caused by one or more of the following:
- Timing Reference High Resolution Signal A Too Many Pulses
- Reverse Input Circuit
- Glow Plug/Heater Circuit 'A' Malfunction
- Manifold Absolute Pressure/Barometric Pressure Circuit High Input
- Cylinder 1 Injector Circuit Low
- Crankshaft Position Sensor A Circuit Malfunction
What To Check After Fixing 17590 Code
- Inspect all the connections engine coolant level sensor / switch, circuit low
- Check the engine oil to ensure it's clean and the viscosity
- Restart the vehicle and retest to see if the error returns
